Baby Boo and I had a hard time becoming friends. He is nervous around strangers and I am much more accustomed to outgoing, overly-friendly dogs, so we immediately got off on the wrong foot.
I'm glad I kept trying, we're good friends now! He has learned to trust me, I've learned that his deafening bark sounds angry, but he doesn't mean it. He can still be a little touchy, but I can tell he works hard to overcome his fears so we can enjoy each other's company.
Once he's at ease, Baby Boo is a big lover. He really enjoys hanging around with Cisco and getting him all worked up. He also knows his stuff and is clearly attentive and intelligent. When he's not giving his big, hammy grin, it's clear that he's on the lookout.
He feels that his primary job is watchdog, and he watches intently, doing an excellent job. No problem, he's also happy to puppy it up from time to time and act foolish if he's in the right mood!
