Cady is a very sweet Boxer, about a year old and still a small girl. She will curl her body up at your feet as you pet her, just loving the attention!
She's definitely a puppy and is very playful and full of energy. She's also done a good job learning her manners, and with a little work, will walk nicely on the leash and pay very close attention to the person who's in charge. It's tough to find a playful pup who is also capable of obedience, but Cady is the whole package!
Cady had a very important job on our Adventure Walk recently. We came across a couple of stray dogs and had to watch them until they got picked up. They were frightened and let us know that we weren't welcome in their space, but Cady and I stood guard to make sure they didn't run off or get themselves into any trouble. This little boxer was confident and patient while we waited and she kept a close eye on the strays without making a peep. All this while being barked at and challenged, Cady exhibited a trait that most dogs never learn... restraint.
