Katie is a miniature schnauzer. Anyone who has owned or worked with the breed knows that they are very unique. If they don't like you, you will know about it. If they like you, they love you! Katie is no exception.
Earning Katie's trust has been a process. Luckily, a few well timed treats got her out of her kennel on my first few visits. Her trust has only grown since then, and although she's a little camera shy, she is pretty bold when she wants attention. She still goes back to her kennel when I'm leaving, but now I can reach in to pet her and say goodbye, confident that I'll leave with all of my fingers. I wouldn't recommend trying that with a miniature schnauzer who doesn't trust you!
