I'm Erica and I started working with Canine
Adventure in April, 2010.I am so excited to
be given this opportunity!
Nothing in
life is better than being outside all day with pooches!I feel so fulfilled when I finish a day's
work of walking with wonderful dogs and seeing them pleased and worn out (just
like me).
I've been known to watch Animal Planet for hours.I once saw a program about pet hotels and thought "Now THAT'S what I
need to do!".Professional dog walking is the
first step on my path.
In my personal
life I love to be outside, especially in the woods of northern Minnesota.I work part time as a bartender, and being outside in the sunlight for a change is simply amazing! I am quickly gaining more dog experience and work regularly both small and large dogs. I desire to
always learn more about the dogs I work with, and I love the opportunity to get to know a wide variety of pooches!

Yes, I let my boyfriend name our new puppy after
food!I saw this little twelve week old
border collie/ lab mix while taking my two cats to the my vet in
Churchill.The vet told me a girl had
dropped her off two hours before I arrived.They were to spay and give her shots the next
day, then off to the SPCA.The
doctor told me I could take her the next day if I wanted.
I immediately
called my boyfriend, Chris, to have him come up and see her.He wasn't too keen on getting a puppy yet,
but once he laid eyes on her he changed his mind!We took her home the day she got spayed, and
are so happy we did!
