"The goal is not to change your subjects, but for the subjects to change the photographer." ~Author Unknown
I love taking photos of the dogs I work with. It gives me a chance to really get to know them. As I develop a deeper relationship with a dog, the photos inevitably get better and better. Admittedly, I do like to get some with the standard "sit, stay, look at the camera" pose, especially if that particular dog does none of these things well. Much more rewarding is being ready when those moments of excitement, fear, surprise, and absolute joy happen.
I'm not a professional photographer, but I strive to bring out the best in your dog and deliver this to you, after every service, and at no charge. You won't likely end up with that perfect portrait of Fifi, a big treat induced smile sitting quietly on her favorite pillow. You will get passable photos of your dog having fun. With time, and a little luck, you will end up with something a little more unique.
